Refining English Text

    BLS provides both, original translations from German to English for websites and company documents, and also refining the text when a non-native English speaker has produced the English version or done the translation from any other language.
    For a website to be truly effective, it is vitally important that it can be read in English as well as in the national language of the country.  This is particularly true for any business that operates on an international basis, or is looking to expand into doing so.
    Similarly, any international business must have important company documents, instruction manuals etc in English.  It is often the case that instruction manuals and other public documents are poorly translated and this reflects badly on the company, as well as often meaning, for example, that the user cannot operate the equipment properly.  Sales are affected if a company gets a bad reputation because of this.
    Even movie sub-titles in English are sometimes incorrect and then the problem stands out and can distract the audience from following the story.  This highlights how important it is for any organisation to make sure that its English translations are as good as a native English speaking, experienced business person can make it.  As in all first impressions, the quality of English presented will affect how the organisation is perceived in the English language business world.
